National Parks Trivia
I’m kind of a trivia nut. I play trivia nearly every Wednesday night at a local bar with some dear friends. It never ceases to amaze me how much I don’t know… I truly think the brain can only hold so much (at least my brain)!! Anyways, it got me to thinking about which US President established the most (still current) National Parks during the term of their presidency. The results are actually surprising… it was Jimmy Carter, at 11, followed by Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt at 8 each. Woodrow Wilson was also responsible for establishing the National Park Service. These three presidents established over 44% of the National Parks currently in the country!
