Last week in America we took the time to remember and honor our Veterans who have served this country.  And our National Parks help tell the stories of our Veterans and the sacrifices they made.  Since Veterans Day 2020, Gold Star Families and US Military veterans are eligible to receive free access to more than 2,000 federal recreation areas, including national parks, wildlife refuges, and forest.  This free access is a way to thank our veterans, Gold Star Families, and current military and their dependents for their support of our country.  Personally, I would like to thank them as well.

Enjoy our public lands this week, and think about the people who have served to help keep America free.
